Bridging the Gap... Literally!

Achieving a wired distance beyond 100 metres with Ethernet requires additional equipment which is inherent with delays and loss of bandwidth.

Solving this problem with a mesh network would be costly and cumbersome and for the small to medium business it would be overkill.

The Airesurf Networks MegaFI is ideally suited when there are physical limitations to cabling or when a distance of greater than 100 metres must be overcome.

With the use of standard networking equipment configured as a wireless bridge (i.e. D-Link DWL-2200AP); two MegaFI units can bridge a gap up to 500 metres while maintaining bandwidth.

The MegaFI enhances the signal's power, and with the high power comes improved bandwidth and QoS (Quality of Signal).

Airesurf Networks uses its MegaFI product as a cost effective solution where other technologies fall short.
